How many auditions (without getting a callback or getting booked) will a commercial agent send a client out on, before the agent loses interest in the client and stops submitting them?
Also, does a commercial agent make calls to get their clients called in?
    Thx!

[*] First of all, you are adorable. I am coming up on some meetings after being recommended by a casting director and some client recommendations. After the meeting, what is a good way for us to close up the meeting that gives us a way to circle back so that it is building a relationship rather than waiting around? What are some key open ended questions? Like, should I call you in a week to check in? I don’t mind when someone say No. It is helpful to get the information so that I can move on.
So, how can I be proactive and not pushy about getting a decision? Also, how long is the average that you usually take with making the decision? I have had yes’s in a week and on the spot. I am over 30 but have credits and casting director relationships. thank you So much! Hilary

I keep in touch with my Agent via email.
This week I will try and take her out for a coffee.
Hopefully we can discuss future prospects.
I will keep in touch with her on a more regular basis.

I talked with Face to get the answers to your question, and he says the answer to the first question varies. He will follow up with casting to get feedback, especially if you’ve been auditioning often with no results. He will share any constructive feedback with clients and give them a chance to incorporate it before losing interest or dropping the client.
And yes, commercial agents do make calls to get their clients in. At least he does.
    Hope that helps!
